Synopsis (and Author's Note)

In the kingdom of Maahishmati, where ambition threatens to overpower loyalty, Lalita— the twin sister of Baahubali—walks the fragile road between duty and desire.

Daughter to the fallen King and raised by the indomitable Queen Mother Sivagami, Lalita gains prowess in strategy, diplomacy, healing, and the way of the bow. Trained to serve the throne that may be inherited by either of her brothers, her strength lies not in power, but in unwavering conviction. But when Rudra, the son of a legendary minister, returns from incognito to take up his father's role in the court, Lalita’s carefully painted image of her future begins to fade.

As her heart kindles with love, politics begin to tighten around her like a noose. Sivagami sees alliance in the form of a diplomatic marriage. Bhallaladeva, once her brother in spirit, now casts cold eyes on her choices. And even Baahubali, her closest companion and a true champion of Dharma, may not be able to shield her from the price of defiance.

Torn between the whispers of her heart and the expectations of the court, Lalita must choose: to obey, and live behind a mask of gold, or to fight—for love, for freedom, and for a crown she never sought but demands to spill her blood.

This is the tale of a princess who wants to be more than her title, set in a world where a brother is not always an ally, and there is an eternal battle between those who lust for the crown, and others who choose to build trust over empires.
